Recently got a Daiwa Certate 3500 for a birthday present (happy as hell too :D).

But the reel is setup for left hand retrieve. Does anybody here know how to change a Certate over to right hand retrieve? Normal threadlines are quite simple but this thing has me stumped  Do you need to open the sides up to do this? I've managed to unwind the handle and remove the side cap but all I see is a threaded pin where the handle winds onto......

There should be a cap on the other side mate take that off, and screw the handle to it. Shouldn''t be that hard, got me puzzled the first time i tried to do that.

Which way does the handle unscrew ??:wacko:

here's a pic of the instruction for ya, it's pretty much just a swap.

btw don't ever take of the engine plates as these reels are made to be only serviced by daiwa.

Great reel you got there, never let you down  , you get nice b'day pressies

Just gotta spool her up with Fireline and I'm set.
