Me and some mates went for a spin down the coast for a splash, and on our way back up we saw something hitting the surface at about 100m off Marlee, as we got closer we saw one nearly fully breach and at about a meter long it wasnt hard to miss the big yellow sickle shaped pec fin. This was just after seeinga massive whale breach right next to the boat, so all in all it was a great day, but i couldn't believe seeing YF that close to shore.

Nice to here that there are some decent fish in close. Heading out for a fish tomorrow with Garry, it's been that long since iv'e been fishing I just hope that I can still remember how to tie a knot

Fin from the rocks is always a challenge but not that uncommon down south. If some one lucked up big time to get one from a beach then that would be news.

Hope you get a chance to stretch your arms on one of those fin real soon
