All you need now is a long stick with a pilchard in front of it ... and a lttle harness ... welcome.. My mates have been paddling out to middle reef off main beach byron where those mac tuna have been thick but haven't managed to get one to take a lure... they did get a nice snapper 2kgs but and a few rats.. My mates have been paddling out to middle reef off main beach byron where those mac tuna have been thick but haven't managed to get one to take a lure... they did get a nice snapper 2kgs but and a few rats.. funny you should say that.i havent seemed to hook any on a lure either,they seem to take a live slow trolled yakka or slimey though.i have noticed quite a few jellyfish in the water with a very small type of sprat fish sitting bellow the jellyfish,perhaps thats what they are feeding on?
