All was planned to a tea. After a hard end to the year i was looking forward to heading away with my brother coming (PEST). I left home around 2am on the 26th to beat all the traffic but whilst on the HWY around Morriset BANG there goes a Trailer tyre. .Changed and got there with a total trip time of 6.5hrs with a baay feed and a tyre change. day 1 decided to do some Bread and butter fishing Whiting/bream/flathead. the day in all landed around 90 fish but only 4 legal fish,The non legal where all about 1.5/1/0.5cm under day 2 decided to hunt around oyster leases for bream. Long day out but nailed a fair few but all a little small but keep 2 for the day 28and 29cm. Got a good sun tan this day /burnt day 3 Friends that where up wanted to fish so we toke them out in the morning and landed 2 nice whiting but i gave them away to the friends but they enjoyed there morning. Arvo on day 3 mate and his cousin came up for a fish. That was some comedy there in it,s self 4 in the boat lines everywhere tangles but i was hiding up the front Landed 2 bream and 2 whiting but they got the fillets and i got to clean all rods and reels and boat. day 4 went for my first time outside and got to cross the bar with the brother standing beside me hanging on for life.NAAAAA i toke it easy we went out and trolled a rapala Xrap and 2 skirts around along jail wall and fish rock then a little wider with no hits 2.5 hrs later we headed back in to get the tyre fixed on the trailer. Day 5 We went out for a night fish dropped some pillies and some live mullet a prayed I also used and little steak i got a flounder whiting and 2 bream on a pillie we got a tailor 15cm long and later on zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ..............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Yeah he we go after a 25-30min fight on 4kg line bloody 60cm diameter sting ray. After that with the lighting rolling in we headed home around 12.30am Day6 different plan flick plastics round and a hard body i decided to try up near Jerseyville red bouy on the sand flats flicked away and away and got half a tail chompped of a wriggler. Brother got a bump on a new pink prawn squidgie.we spent a few hours there and decided a new tact drift around the fishing trawlers in jerseyville and flick in and around them.I put on a eco SX 40f and flick away then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz POP what ever it was went then spat the hooks.I was cheering my first hock up on Hardbodies. We continued up the lag with no luck. Headed home and cleaned the boat and my brother was off home. I got time to fish which i love small feed of fish i said small i got to take bubs to the beach for the first time and spend lots of time with grandma and wife for a great family holiday I had a great time.
