coastie Posted January 12, 2007 Share Posted January 12, 2007 I finally got xmas holidays this week and have been busting to do some fishing. I went to Tuggerah Lakes the other day, early morning and the water was boiling with hungry fish, so i thought i would skim some plastics weightless accross the top and was getting smashed on nearly every cast. slowly drifted off the weed bed and onto some sand things went quiet for 5 mins then smash got hit by a 59cm flattie on the surface, scared the sh#t out of me. Managed to land it on 4 pound gear, could not believe the fight it put up, dancing accross the surface my reel was screeeming . I took a photo and then released it for another day.
