arpie Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Hi guys I couldn't help noticing at The Entrance, that Stewy had almost a whole tacklebox with various well-chewed Smiling Jacks!! I would like to get one or two & try to continue my 'bream on lure streak' just to prove it wasn't an accident on the weekend!! (Which I am pretty sure it was!!) Thanks (in advance) Roberta
Davy Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 i have a few but the ones i love for bream are in the raw prawn ones i think? i have the sort of see through natural colour (forgot the name) and the hot pink ones, personally they are one of the few HBs i use for bream now. still have yet to try out sx40s but atm im happy with the HBs i have Cheers Davy
The Iceman Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 If your lucky Roberta Stewy might part with one or two of his gold black back ones
arpie Posted May 22, 2007 Author Posted May 22, 2007 (edited) ....I will barter with you for some weed and bring a couple for you when I get to the Blackfish Social.... Ooooooh! I could be in that!!! Would love to try them out! May require another quick trip to Byron ...... Seriously - the weed is keeping remarkably well, so far! The stuff I said would only be good for burley seems to be looking better, too! Will wash it again probably tomorrow! Back to the Jacks ..... the smaller the better? (goes against the grain, doesn't it???) Got this info from Bassermillard site who stocks them!! The photo shows only 2 colours, not 7 as indicated there are! Jacks Raw Prawn is a realistic prawn/yabby imitation that is great for fish such as Bream, Bass, Trout, Perch and Flathead. The shallow diving nature of the Raw Prawn makes it perfect to fish over and around weed beds, fallen timber, oyster racks and bridge pylons. The Raw Prawn is available in 2 sizes, 40mm and 50mm, to suit different areas and target species. Code/Length: JRP4 (40mm), JRP5 (50mm) Available colours: OS210 (Pink), BM6 (Red Head, Black Body, Silver), OS02L (Gold Laser), OS03L (Green Laser), BM23 (Translucent with Pink tinge) Cheers Roberta Just found this colour, too - green laser Edited May 22, 2007 by Roberta
