Either right or wrong at least the ref had the balls to make a decision.

All in all it wasn't a great game and the kicking was shocking IMO but I have seen worse games.

QLD deserved to win (man how hard was that to say )..... NSW couldnt take the momentum even when they had it!

IMO i think we were lucky to be infront at half time - i really hate the after match ph call i get from the other side of the border

Johnno, I tend to agree with you aswell. The Reff did have a rather ......... shall we say........... average performance.

I say performance because I feel that a few calls he made was more a grandstanding stunt rather than a thought out decision.

NSW were lucky to be where they were at half time, and that was a ballsy decision to award that try when he had the aid of 6 cameras to assist on a sketchy put down of the ball.

I'm a Reff myself and don't mind bad decisions.- thats footy. Grandstanding and decisions made without thought ie. not utilising the radio controled touchies or gazillion cameras on call seem to indicate that the Reff wants to be part of a football game instead of a facilitator of one.

Never mind, we'll get them in games 2&3 !

I had to tip Qld , with NSW Blooding 5 newbies .

And the experience showed inthe Half that Mattered , the 2nd.

Qld once again finished Stronger , and won the day.

But We have the edge in Sydney .
