KingsRule
hey guys was thinking as i prefer using spinning reels compared to over heads, would it be advisable to use a jigging outfit (as such) for heavy bait fishing , like big livies for kingies . was thinking spheros 14000 with starlo stix duo jig rod? heard silstar have a crystal blue jig rod? Red
Rob, you can use an outfit like that for sure. Its perfect if you like eggies. I use T-Curve 400's and Thunnus/Spheros reels when baitfishing for good jews in structure. Its hard to fish heavy braid effectively with longer sticks. Go for it Red
TheDiko
The Silstar Crystal Blue Jig rods in medium and heavy is just what you're looking for. Domza has this rod and I'm sure could give you a run down on the rods peformance, he has the 24kg version. IFS

domza
can't fault the crystal blue so far, only had it on the water once and it landed a couple of dollies no problems I plan on using it for live baiting as well
The Flintstones
Has any one seen the new okuma jig rods? You would need arms like spider everet if you wanted to use for any other application. Lower grip must be 3 feet long
