bolan Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 My phone is the best. I ran over it in a truck and it doesn't ring very often. Unfortunately my Wife wishes to upgrade it to one that works, but I just love mine the way it is. If you wish to know further details, PM me........ don't bother ringing Cheers, Stumpy

Mik Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 (edited) Everyones gonna say their phone is the best. penguin Sorry to dissapoint Penguin but my fone is the biggest peice of crap known to man. I-Mate Jas-Jam Bought it coz I previously had an I-Mate PDK-2 which I loved, CDMA, lots of goodies & nice screen etc. Was a little big though. So though the svelt Jas-Jam was gonna be the goods. Its been back to the shop twice & 1 week after the second repair its stuffed again. I have stolen another work phone to stop me exploding with frustration & it seems to handle the abuse I tend to dish out (No excuse to the I-Mate, they are "Mobile" phones, they should expect & handle a bit of rough) Samsung SGH-A501 is the replacement & its ok, nothing flash but it does ring & seem to do everything I need (Except email!) In the end a mobile phone is an evil necessity in our society today, especially for business purposes. I am now going to stick to the following criteria when purchasing mobiles. 1 - Loud (So I can hear it at work) 2 - Hands free (So I can get the bugga off the calous it gives me on my ear) 3 - Continues to operate after being dropped on tiled floor just outside phone shop 30 seconds after I bought it (Miks special drop kick test) 4 - Has the ability to play MP3's as ring tones so I can upload my absolute favorite ring tone to it... Set that tone to the relevant people & listen to "Warning Warning...Incoming Tosser, Incoming Tosser" when they ring me. This one saves me hours of "Phone Ear" by selecting "Ignore" whenever I hear it! Goodluck with ya purchase, may you find a phone that works for ya. PS - Stumpy you definatley got the right idea mate!!! Edited July 26, 2007 by Boofhead

We'll know if we see ya with a finger in your ear and the other near ya nose. Hope those fingers are healing up and starting to move a bit. Th emore you work them the more chance of ever gaining the most movement. Pel
zrealist Posted July 27, 2007 Author Posted July 27, 2007 Thamks for the feedback guys. Looks like the Nokia N 95 is the way to go for me. I do like my music on the way to and from work and often take photos, so a phone with all the gadgets will be very good. The only downside i can see so far is the price, it's almost double your average phone.
