Berkley Whiplash Braid

hi all just wondering if any body has had any trouble with either whiplash or whiplash pro braid as i have found varying quality on the spools.have caught some big fish with long fights and lost some other fish with the line popping on strike

I haven't tried the whiplash braid mate but have had similar problems recently with nitlon p.e.

Upsizing the leader helped but isn't ideal really. Some braids have such a thin diameter that they cut through flouro or mono way to easily. The strange thing is like you said that sometimes it's fine & other times it just gives out of the blue. I haven't made up my mind on these newer braids as yet. I never had the same problems with fireline.

We havent been any problems with wiplash pro. Only that things that it giv lot of green colour but it is ok . And it is more thick what they say, like 0.28mm it is allmoste 0.40mm line.
