Hell Yeah

Despite tipping against them ( hope you stayed loyal

Roosterman) I have always had the view of taking a win

on the game at the expense of a tipping round miss for

my Roosters

While tongue in cheek with my post in Nrl Grand Final, Manly to win

that Melb were worried (crapping themselves) by the Rooster's

2 in a row wins never did I think the outcome of the game

would be how it panned out last night

Always in control and with venom in every tackle they

literally dominate the Storm in all facets of the game

Much gratuitous cheer was heard form myself and my

well educated in footy daughters along with

the singing of "There's only one Freddy Fittler" we

celebrated long and hard

One game at a time but the finals are within reach

laugh at your peril those who are yet to face

the Red White and Blue'sters

The last five minutes spoiled a great game for us woosters. You can tell that with five minutes to go they said "bugger it, we've won it anyway" and let in two soft tries. Made the score look much closer than what it really was.

Apart from that, it was a great game for us.

as stated in the Grand final thread it was a great game but the finals are a long way away...especially on the for and against.......even if you guys win every game from here you will have to make it through on for and against and the roosters are -170 odd...can be done but highly unlikely.....

But it shows great promise for next year...

what a bunch of champions led by the greatest.... i was never real impressed with anderson even though hes had success as a coach i dont like his style.and more to the point the guys didnt want to do it his way either... ..

chris i have and never would tip against my beloved chookies, even though theres been some tempting times,especially when ive been close to winning and the boys are playing with their skirts on... but like my kids no matter how bad they are ill still love em....

i think we have really been too generous this year.. i mean what other team is so confident to give everyone a lead into the finals race like us... just like a melbourne cup race and coming round that last turn stone motherless

to stretch our chookie neck out at the post to take the cup back where it belongs.. ...

Hey Steve

I went to the first game against Souths as usually every year

is a Bunny girl - the daughters and myself go Roosters

I left with the feeling that this would be a lost year not to mention

having to listen to telling me how good Souths played

I said Anderson had to be gone before season end (wishes do

come true) he goes Freddy steps up and some how the lights

are on and what do you know ....... they can play

Living in hope one game at a time

Good to see the "House of Pain" is open for business now for

anyone that plays us at home

Next 2 weeks will be hard with Warriors then the Tigers but

that's what they said about us playing the Storm

Too bad Nick runs everything or we might still have

Wingy on the books instead of him leaving for Souths

as a long term roosters supporter i have been ridiculed, laughed at and been the butt of many jokes but right now, i am laughing for the first time in a long time. Go you good things

Dont know why but i dont see freddy as a permanent coach for the roosters. I think what has been happening lately is that the palyers are just enjoying there football and have just been told to go out there and have a go.

To me he seems too immature, i mean he knows the game very well but he just doesnt seem like a long term motivator.

I guess only the future will tell.

Go those mighty chookies.... was a hard fought win.. i only got to listn to the second half on my way home from watto's... we nearly threw it away but a wins a win eh...... if we play like that next week i dont think we will be that lucky......

i think with titans,panthers and bunnies to come the finals are no longer a dream but a possibility.... who would of thought it possible a month ago.....
