ant180 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Hey guys. I've been doing a lot of research and playing with carbon drag washers in all of my reels. I'm 100% sold on the benefits of greased woven carbon. Basically I'm wondering how many of you use/have converted to carbon drag washers? Have you seen an improvement? What brand are you using? Cheers!
caranx Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Carbontex from jack erskine....and yep, improved my reel.....
PM79 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 I'd like to get some for my eggbeaters, where can I get some from? I live in North Ryde if that helps.
caranx Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 I order online..not sure if stores stock them readily but maybe they can get them in for you. Google Jack Erskine as he has them for a number of threadlines and overheads.
royboy Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 I got them for my abu 6500 and they are the goods! Ultra smooth and can hold more drag pressure. Just make sure you put them in the right order.
