Rob What amazing photos they are ....interesting fish sort of makes fishing for hairtail a bit boring now!!!!!! would of thought being a deep water fish its eyes would of been as big as a tennis ball giving everything ive seen here come out of deep water seem's...... to be googlie eyed....... Frantic Posted September 11, 2007 Share Posted September 11, 2007 Mmmmmm "Oarfish" seen one about 10 yrs ago ,it was on a beach washed up and about 2 to 4 days old. It smelled a far bit and eyes like coffee saucers,i didnt known what is was until i did a bit of researching.,probably about 10ft long ,This was at the MidNorth Coast. craig Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
