Billfisher caught two makos aroung 80kg and Broadbill, two donuts..what an ordinary day. :05: Water is running north at 18 degrees, wind 20 knots from nor east It was sloppy, windy and mildly depressing.I think that the wider grounds are where the fish are. Oh! well batten down the hatches for a few days for the gale winds ....beauuuuudy!

I am updating my site with photos of Saturday's catch of yellowfin. Look in Fishing Reports and Stories and Hints sections.... :1welcomeani: Click hereMy Webpage to go direct

There are lots of helpful Hints in that section on How to Catch marlin, tuna, snapper and kings :1fishing1:

Better Reports next week I hope

Shame on the 'ordinary' outing, Ross - as we all know - that's fishing!!! :( Thank goodness it doesn't happen to you often .... not that that makes it any less depressing!!! You are under pressure to deliver, so double pressure, really!

We've had big winds the last few days & very choppy out to sea - but this morning it is as calm as .... so far!

I was checking out your tips & hints the other day!! Fantastic for anyone wanting to get out there & bag a big one!

Better fishin' next time!

Cheerio

Hi Ross Broadbill & Billfisher

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Double hook ups were common and the fun was continuos, bearing in mind we only fished on the cubes for two hours on account of the time it takes to get there and then back home, but if you load up with a good catch, then it’s worth it I guess….Where are the “Glory Days” when we used to catch them at the Peak bring them back I say!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How far back are the "Glory Days" Ross. Are we going to ever see them again? Are they only seasonal?

How long have the seas been running north this winter?

I don't think I've ever seen so much southerly influence as I've seen over the past few months.

Cheers
