depends which spot =) there are a few spots where you can fish you should head down, you'll see quite a lot of other people fishing around, mostly old men

my first memories of fishing include mornings and afternoons at that spot with my dad some 25 years ago!

I used to catch yakkas, tailor and the odd slimy mackerel on handline while pops would fish off the very end casting straight out as far as he could for bream and flathead.

In all the years I fished that spot I never heard of or saw a kingy pulled. how things have changed. seen some BIG flathead and BIG tailor though.

its changed quite a lot, theres not as many fish as there used to be

but hey! theres kingys here now! and i recently hooked up a big flatty around 50cm+ didnt quite land it though hahah better luck next time for me
