PJ Garn
Hi Raiders I thought I'd share this one with you all... dropped down the Nepean yesterday arvo for a cool off and to wet the lines with my wife Melissa and young bloke Robson(AKA The Robdog). We headed for the area just above the weir as Robson is only 15 months old and has just started walking. I set up the rods for a quick session in hope of a couple of nice carp but to no avail!!! So Robson's first day out ended up a Blank but hey that's fishin'!!!! Got a couple of nice photos of him... I reckon he's going to be a natural!!!! I'm trying to teach him to say "I love you Dad... take me fishin'!!!" Why aren't the fish biting Dad??? Cheers Raiders PJ Garn
james7
Young "Robdog" looks a natural PJ Garn! I reckon his own rod would be an ideal Christmas present. By the time he's three, he'll probably be giving you lessons! But hey, you don't really want his first fish to be a carp, do you? Flightmanager
Its great to see so many Raiders getting into it with their young families !! Just remember , particularly with the little ones , glare can burn their skin , even if they are sitting in the shade , make sure you apply plenty of 30+ during the course of the day ! Cheers Peter Hi Peter I think Christmas might be a bit early for a rod but certainly his 2nd birthday in July. I certainly want his first fish to be a carp... being a ex-Pommy I've got a fascination and ultimately a respect for these fish. I see past their destructive habits and although I don't put them back... I wished I could!!!! I have a idea/dream that if I can get it happening will turn Carp into GOLD!!! Next to the bloke who thought of "Charlie Carp" I want to make my fortune from the good old CARP!!!! Cheers PJ Garn
