crummy01 Posted October 24, 2007 Share Posted October 24, 2007 Hey Lads, Just looking to do a few day trips down from bathurst to the salty stuff as we have not alot of water and even less fish!! Just after some advice on Boat ramps and spots from about Sackville , Wisemans Ferry maybe to Spencer. I will mainly be flickin Sp's. Trying for flatties and bream and whatever else. Day's Fishin Posted October 31, 2007 Share Posted October 31, 2007 Theres a good little ramp next to the bridge to no where at Lower Portland,which is about halfway between Sackville And Wisemans Ferry.There is good fishing all the way down river to Spencer .Most commonly caught are Bass,Bream,Flathead and Jewfish.Although now the prawn trawlers have started the jewfish disappear until you get down around Wisemans Ferry.
