kw367
Hi Raiders, Need some advice here. I'm booked to take 6 year old son PJ on a whale watching tour off Sydney on Sunday. Trouble is he is a bit prone to sea sickness. I was going to see if travel sickness pills are OK for a 6 year old to take. BUT to make matters worse, BOM is forecasting winds increasing to 20-30 knots on Sunday, whereas Seabreeze says about 15 knots. Who do I believe? Dramamine... childs dose... one taken on the night before... and one with brecky on the morning you are going out.... works a treat. the down side being he will tend to feel a bit sleepy...... as with all sea sickness tablets though read the instructions on the packet as for the weather bom tends to overstate seabreeze tends to understate so settle in the middle..... going by that then.... the better option would be to try and go saturday... sunday looks to be a bit on the breezy side..... Cheers Warnie...

Thunder
There is also a liquid version if they have trouble swallowing tablets. I bought some for my son but haven't tried it yet. Cheers Greg
pelican
Call the whale watch operator if you are worried as they are pretty understanding as they don't want really ill people on board . Lots of whales not far off so hopefully will be occupied and excited and forget about the water and aves.
