Gave myself a leave pass on fri arvo and headed to a local spot for plastics session, things were quite at first, so I changed from a craw to a vibe looking for a reaction bite, weel second cast got smashed, now I ve caught some pretty decent fish on this rod, but it was bent over like never before all the way through the bottom guide, 2minute stand off it ran for shallow water and the water erupted like a bloody crocodile was in their then it was gone with my vibe, (gggggrrrrrrr), put on smiths crankbait and continued on had a few hits near some mangrover but the lure kept coming back with weed on it, changed to daiwa presso popper, first cast bang, only a small bream really about 29cm but it gave a really good account of itself, bagged a flattie after that, only small, went home soon after happy in the knowledge that I will be back for revenge, at no stage did I get colour on the fish as the water was still murky from the rain. wouldve been those big pesky flatheads which area u fishing looks like a its got heaps or weed like a lake or something?

You gotta love those little vibe's,awesome lures for both bream & bass.

I reckon you probably lost a solid flatty as they also hit the vibe's hard.

Sounds like a fun session anyway,maybe next time on the big fella!
