owen Posted November 4, 2007 Share Posted November 4, 2007 hey mate they good for using weedless the gama EWG hooks for the best and the best plastic for them is a squigy bug IMO caught me a decent amount of fish hard up agesitnt pilons and jetty etc... coastspinna Posted November 14, 2007 Share Posted November 14, 2007 we use the wide gapes when livebaiting mullet for flattys.... like a circle hook make sure that there is nothing between the point of the hook and the shank.... we pin the mullet thru the shoulder or nose... i have also been trying em out for light baitfishing.... a mate loads em up with shrimp for bream and whiting in the smaller sizes... whiting seem to hook themself most times gl Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
