Are there any Taree or Old Bar locals that could tell me what the state of the Old Bar entrance is and how the lagoon is fishing? I am heading up on Monday for a few days on the flats.

Mick/Owzat lives there. He would be a good person to quiz on local action just now.

There has been talk by local Council about getting it opened again,but like the supposed dredging of Wallis Lake - whether it happens is a matter of conjecture!!!

Not much to report on about the flats around the Old Bar entrance but the snapper are still biting at a few of the inshore reefs and still were on the weekend.

As for the entrance, here's some info. Just the usual "to and fro-ing".

Thanks for the replies everyone. Looks like I will be better off fishing the Manning point flats based on what you have all said.So thats what I will do. Thanks again.
