PJ Garn
Hi Raiders Thought I'd post this a timely reminder for us lure throwing addicts!!! I had an incident yesterday where I snagged in a tree, not wanting to loose my prized possession I yanked the line and the lure came flying back and smacked me in the cheek !!! Fortunately it bounced straight off!!! This guy wasn't so lucky!!!! With so many of us throwing lures after Bass presently... just a friendly word of advice and don't forget to wear your sunnies!!!! Cheers & Stay Safe PJ Garn Edited October 31, 2007 by PJ Garn

GregL
Bloody big live bait! Taking "pin him threw the eyes" to another level! That's why everyone should wear sunnies while lure casting.

arpie
Ooooh! That is really nasty! Also take care when pulling a snagged line free!! Even if wearing your sunnies - turn your head away from the direction of the line, in case the sinker comes flying out at a million miles an hour!! It could also take your eye out. I hooked my brother Sails in the hand a year or two back, throwing sps around! Ouch! He had to push the hook thru & snip off the barb, to remove it! It is not a matter of if, more likely, when!
