Howdy all,

Went for an afternoon session with a mate down at Narrabeen yesterday. I managed to hookup all the usual undersize bream as you do but then I had a more substantial tug on my rod. Fishing rod that is

After a bit of coaxing to get through some weed I ended up with a nice 55 cm lizard. This is a PB for me so I was quite happy.

I was using my usual setup. 6lb line, 10lb leader and peeled hawkesbury prawns. I was fishing at the Woolies bridge on the South Eastern side.

The weather is looking mighty fine out today so I think I will have to go for another flick

I read your post in the thread about Narra Lakes in the Fishing chat section. Shame you didn't have similar success on Friday arvo. But as you said, they will be coming thick and fast from now on.

Nice one. I'm thinking about heading up there for a fish outa the yak sometime soon, and with fish like that it'll be ASAP.
