Need Help From S/steel Welder Member

Wondering if there's a stainless steel welder out there who can do a small welding job for me.

I need to mount my two Cannon downriggers onto S/S bases which need to be welded to a length of S/S tube to make rod holder inserts which will go into rail mounted rod holders units on my Mustang Centre Console. I have the material - the tubing and the S/S plate need to be cut to size.

The plate will need to be welded onto the tube at an angle so that the downriggers sit horizontal.

The angle would only be standard the same angle as factory inbuilt rod holders, as my rail mounted rod holders are 360 degree adjustable. Once the plate is welded to the tube, holes need to be drilled to suit nuts and bolts to mount the Cannon base plates to the new rod holder unit plate.

I live in the Campbelltown area and could drop the stainless steel tube and plate over.

Thanks

Hi Byron,

We can MIG and TIG stainless steel and we have a plasma cutter and access to a guillotine.

We are at Ingleburn, so we are close as well.

Cheers

Greg

Greg That's fantastic old mate thanks a million :yahoo: The Cannon ones would cost me an arm and a leg.

I lost your phone numbers and meant to drive down to Ingleburn and see if I could find your exhaust factory so we could do a session or two during your hols.

Could you please pm your numbers thru Greg and your factory address and I'll put your phone numbers into my phone.

Good on you Thunder ! you've made my day.

Sureflo Exhaust

Unit 4 Slater Rd (cnr Broadhurst Rd)

One of my Tradies left on Friday and another is on holidays.

I have a fill in guy at the moment and I have another guy who will be in tomorrow (and every 2nd day for 2 weeks and he will start permanent on 1st December if he works out).

This new guy is supposed to be a genius with a TIG welder, so it will be a good test for him.

It will be nice to meet you in person.

Cheers

Greg
