live_baiter Posted December 4, 2007 Author Share Posted December 4, 2007 I haven't tried one but, am interested to hear how it goes. gave it a go last weekend and was quite surprised at how good it performed. i paid a total of about $140 to have it landed here from USA and i have noticed that they are now being sold in aust market. anyway, used it to flick sp around and caught nothing on it but the changed to a squid jig and the action was non-stop. matched it to a nitro ultra finesse with 6lb braid and it was perfect. the drag was really smooth, the combo felt light, the whole thing just worked flawlessly. the bonus was catching over 30 southern calamari (up to 35cm to hood) with another 3 blokes on board. i would definitely recommend this reel to those on a budget and wanting quality gear. it looks good too. now i am tossing up on whether i should go get the exist or not...
