Shoalhaven Upper Reaches Trip

I'm gonna hit the Shoalhaven with my cousin for a day and drop the boat in at Graddy's in two weeks time.

Has any one done any good up the reaches lately? Will probably have Bass, Bream and Flatties on the hit list....on sp's, poppers and hard bodies only....

I spent a weekend wake boarding up there about 4 years ago and dragged along a rod at the time. With no bait to speak of, I tied on a plastic for the first time and second cast nalied a very nice flatty.....haven't been back on a dedicated adventure since so thought I'd give it a crack.

The same weekend we got handed about 20 live prawns from the local prawning dudes, tied them on and hauled in some monster bream, a few small bass and giant eel.....if only obtaining live prawns was that simple all the time.

After the Shoalhaven we are off to Tuross for two days, all those quality reports Hodgey submits have stirred me into action....
