I want to go down to the peirs on saturday night to chase a couple for food and bait for jews. Any one know where some good spots are in pittwater? I was thinking the back of palmy. thanks kirkby Yeah mate there has bee a few but i reckon all the rain this week might make it a bit hard!!! but as you said try the peirs and you cant go to far wrong!!!! Back of palmy is good, but try Barrenjoey the whole way around has plenty of kelp and it's nice clean water if that's what you're worried about. roosterman Posted November 9, 2007 Share Posted November 9, 2007 hi Kirkby, before the rain i was going 3 or 4 times a week and getting only a couple at a time in hour or 2 sessions.... they were good size southerns though.... got quiet a few occies also.... bloody pests... lost a couple jigs to em .... i may go up tonight and try if rain holds out as im hitting the harbour kings on sun morning ands always good to have backup bait..... or calamari for did dins .... i will pm you with some good spots.... steve........
