VA911
Went for a late arvo/night fish. Fished the run in and on first dark hooked a ripper. Pulled me into a pilon and that was that for the 30lb braid. Not more than 20 mins later the bait runner took off again and ended in no hook up. Not long after it goes again and i land a small jew much smaller than the first one hooked and goes 2.5kg. all in all not a bad night. Pics to follow after i work out how to get them off the phone Ok worked it out. should have got a shot with it next to a tape but it was about 60cm. not big at all but still a bit of fun. jewgaffer
Beautiful looking and it's amazing how jewfish come out of nowhere when everything else goes quiet. Pay to keep on hitting the same spot Vince things are picking up, give me a ring when you get a chance and I'll go up. jewgaffer
VA911
Nice little Jew there. So the one that snapped you off, you reckon she was a big girl??? i reckon the one still swiming with my hooks and 60lb fluro was about the 7-10kg mark. Once again not massive but big fish none the less for chiswick. Big head shakes and crafty to go round the pilon. I learnt after that one and moved 100m away from the pilon.
