hook'm
I can't believe you caught a Yellowbelly on the Northern Beaches.. must be a world first!! Well done. Will we being seeing you at the Spit this season? you bet mate!! had a few succesful runs already will be out on friday night/sat morn for a run The yellowbelly was caught at manly dam apparently they have released all sorts of freshwater natives there like murray cod/silver perch/yellowbelly and bass .i have also heard of trout being released there too. i have only ever caught bass and redfin perch(british introduced fish) so the yellowbelly was such a surprise .... he was released to fight another day. I was shaking like a leaf after catching it too lol

Kings have been slow for us.. we got one a couple of Fridays ago (68cm) and that has been it. Squid everywhere though... We will be out this weekend for another shot. werris
We get all sorts of fish on the northern beaches. I live in Manly and I've caught Bass, Mangrove Jack, Giant Herring...but definitly no Yellowbelly. Might be time to hit the dam again.
