azzaxe
Hi All, a very big thanks first of all to Darren from Trailerboat Hire for his fantastic boat, by far the best boat I've hired and he says we were the first to stain it with kingy blood! Headed out in the rain on Thursday to hunt some kings, found various schools scattered around the harbour in the morning but were very hard work. We decided to head home at lunch time and dry off and have some food and lots of coffee! Back on the water about 2pm, the fish were really on fire, lots count of how many kings and tailor we hooked, but only kept 1 each for the table. There are some very big fish in the schools at the moment but seem to be feeding on tiny bait, so we had to downsizer the gear to hook up and got smoked on 10pound numerous times! Great fun, great boat! pics to follow when my mate emails them!
