arpie
Hi guys Did anyone see the writeup in the Sun Paper on the Craigcat? Really interesting concept for a small boat/fishing vessel! I reckon it would be great for quieter waters - lakes, dams etc not sure if I'd be hooning round the harbour on it tho, specially if rough! Check it out http://www.craigcat.com.au/ I think it is cute!!! Cheers Roberta
jewgaffer
Hey Roberta Get Keith to buy you one of those for Christmas . If you fished around the poles for blackfish in one of those little flyers, you'd have the holiday crowd and the media hanging around there all day and you might be able to sell raffle tickets for a cane basket full of blackfish to pay for it. arpie
HI Jewgaffer - something like that would be terrific for bass & trout fishing .... not sure about barra fishing! May get pulled overboard! I reckon you could even waterski behind it with the kids! Roberta

arpie
Hey Luke Ha! Ha! I'd like a video of that You'd need a bloody big petrol tank, eh?? I am ignorant of fuel usage in boats - is 5l/hr at 30km good?? Holy Hell! At 30kph, you'd be flying above the water, I reckon - specially when hitting the swells ..... Roberta They actually have one up in FOrster on show! Edited November 14, 2007 by Roberta
pelican
I've been on a "Zego". Similar concept. Some were being used as rowers coach boats. http://www.zego.biz/index.htm
stricko4
Roberta, I've seen them at the Rosehill Boat Show for the past couple of years. The really look the goods for smooth bays or rivers. Small & easy to handle with heaps of power when fitted with a small engine. Also look quite stable for a person fishing alone. If I remember though they are a bit expensive for what they are though. arpie
Hel Pelican That Zego is cute too!! I could go with that, too! easier to steer, than the craigcat, astride. Hi Paul - yeah - about $8000 for the smallest engine optioned one. Ya can't take it with ya when ya go, tho .... iether of them would be great for that small water fishing - specially if you don't fancy towing biiig boats around the country!
