Sammy0884
Okuma Catalina, Shimano Charter special... Stretch the budget to $230 and you can get something very nice like a Shimano Tekota or Torium.

domza
shimano baitrunner 4500 or 6500, possibly the toughest reel available for the price you pay (160-200)
Red
Noah, on your budget i'd look at buying a quality 2nd hand reel. Jordy is currently selling some reels in the Swap and Sell section at great prices. A Tekota 800 for $140 and a Speedmaster for $100. Can't go wrong with those prices. I bought his Calcutta 50XT and it is immaculate, as advertised. Well worth a look in my view. Cheers Red
frangkie
Would you consider spin gear! There are heaps of tough spin reels these days and not all of them cost an arm and a leg.

shane87
If your going to fish up to 100m then stick to an overhead.
frangkie
yes what do you recommend shimano spheros 14000, you can also upgrade the drag on this reel at fishfinder bait and tackle to carbon. This pulls pretty serious drag.
