kikila
Flathead was on the agenda as we launched out of the Sylvania Waters ramp at 6am the plan of attack was simple we would work the north side of the bay from Towra to Silvers beach chucking SP’s around. On our first drift Mick with his second cast nails a 50cm lizard & it was almost nonstop action for the next 4 hours we had to move around a bit & try to keep out of the thicker patches of weed & work the edges of the weed. To cut a long story short we ended up catching 30 plus flatties from as small as 25cm up to the best fish 70cm & 10 of the lizards were between 50 & 58cm we kept 4 flatties each the rest were released. All the fish were caught on squidge fish lures of various sizes & colours. PS forgot to charge the digi got some pics on a standed camra will post pics when able
