yakfishing
Gday, Fished the bay today in my yak. Was looking forward to it all week because I havn't been out on it for ages. Heard the third runway was fishing good for bream on nippers. Got some nippers headed out for the runup tide thinking I'm gonna clean up and...........zip. Tried some other baits and still nothing only a few little buggers including two of the smallest flathead I've ever seen. Did manage to pull up one the ugliest SOBs of the deep tho - a numbfish. My second encounter with one - the first I was diving and put my hand on one hiding in the sand. Got a nasty zap and was bloody confused until someone told me what it was. jewgaffer
Hi Yakfishing. No luck in the yak today mate even in the best spot and the best bait live nippers. That electrified numfish zapping you must have been in it's full glory today ay. The air didn't feel right to day and a little bit of cool breez just to add to it. Just need a small change, a little more temp and a bit of rain and you'll be braining them in the yak, perhaps tomorrow afternoon ay? Cheers jewgaffer
