heckendorfmortgage
5.30am I climbed aboard Daryl's boat at Apple Tree bay. Tide was coming in for a high around 9am. We trolled for Taylor/bait. Saw this interesting site in little bay around the corner. We had a pleasaant but uneventful day out around Barenjoey and Lion Island. One 39cm flatty was taken on the drift near West Head on a nondescript placcy. Heading back we flicked at some rock walls/ledges for Beam. One beautiful squire and Daryl scored a first. He can inform on that. Back to Smiths Creek and what did we see?????? An old hull to cast around. Time to go home. The ramp was busy but a good day was had. Thanks Daryl. heckendorfmortgage
Perhaps the master decided it was wise to secure the vessel out of the weather. Two anchors at the bow and two ropes tied back to gum trees at the stern. You may notice there is an access hatch and also a little fold out (hydraulic) jetty on the starbord side, and a fold out landing on the port side too. Nice craft. Guest bluecod
Nice looking rig, though the Master should be aware there is a set of foul weather moorings at Kangaroo Point built for a vessel of that size - its quite likely he will rip those angophoras out by the roots - must be a real cheapskate as Council only applies a nominal charge for the use of the moorings [and only if they know about it]

Illegal to tie up to trees in a National Park Do you think they can afford the fine Boppa

allen glover
Ilona is frank lowys new boat but jeez you'd reckon they be able to afford a stern anchor. a ship like that would make quick work of any gum tree gold plated taps can't live without them Edited December 28, 2004 by allen glover

wombat
Yup!! That's Franks boat alright. all $110 million dollars worth. I see the helicopter which is parked under the rear deck was not out. Apparently the platform gets raised and levered out the back for it to take off and land. Might see if the Quinney can get one tacked on.
