abiasin
hi all Im chasing hopefully big flathead on plastics over the weekend in the hawkesbury and was wondering what are some worth while places to try land some lizards. do you need sand bottom, or will mud botom suffice as everywhere in the hawkesbury i seem to fish seems to be mud? are there any known weedy areas to try in the hawksbury/cowan where the flathead may be lurkng? ill be fishing bigish gulp flick baits and shad style plastics. No need to give away secret spots but some usefull info on some likely areas would be much appreciated. justinp
Id bypass hawkesbury and fish patonga and ettalong, go past the rip bridge, once past their are some fantastic weed edges on drop offs, just follow the channel markers, their always a few around Ive found, failing that patonga beach drifts well on runout, cheers Justin.
