Little Hooker
hey raiders, This is my first post on this forums but long time reader. Lots of great infomation/advice compare to the other one i surf so maybe you guys could point me in the right direction. Im keen on gettin a pair of downriggers for my 5.3 alumiumn (100hp) boat cause it seems ilike ts the way to go for kingfish these days. Ive been doin searching on this site and i know what i want (i think) A scotty 1050/60 electric , not really sure on what mount i should use yet trying to picture what would work best right now. As we all know buyin downriggeres in aussie shops are so overpriced!! Ive been reading on this forums that alot of guys get it from the states. Just wondering would anyone have links/contacts they could share with me?? perfered if they have personally brought it from that shop it self. Any help or suggestion would be great. johnno
I use a 1050 on my boat as do most others as far as mounts go i have mine in a rod holder it does move a little but that is more the rod holder. common is bolting it down flat as it is more sturdy. sent Netic a PM as he has just switched to electricriggers sorry i can,t help with the other questions
