scareb77
Hi All Just need some help. We are headed out to Botany tomorrow and would love to know a couple of spots to try. We always fish Hawksbury but to be honest we are over it now. Only running small boat - 16ft and not really setup for outside. So any advice is appriecated. Love reading all the other posts - you guys always give great advice. Regards Steve B
Guest
Plenty of spots in the Bay ,try Watts Reef ,The Hot Water outlet and Mollineaux Point. Fresh bait is best ,these are not secret spots but are some of the well known ones. Good Luck and look forward to your report Steve. Cheers Stewy. Nothing wrong with a drift for flatties around Towra either

scareb77
Thanks Stewy and Tricks. Fished Watts, Mollineaux Point (so did a thousand others), entry into the heads and third runway but not much success. Caught a few Port Jackson sharks and quite a few rod cods etc but nothing to write home to mummy about. Didn't see anybody else catching much. Water seemed very cold (18 degress at the heads and 20 further in). Thanks for the offer Tricks. Didn't see this until this morning so we thought we would just try the spots the Stewy mentioned. Still, great day out Regards Steve B
