Chris 55 Posted January 1, 2008 Share Posted January 1, 2008 Hi Nigel My Tanacom has a handle on it and it can be used in electric or manual mode but as far as comparing it to a conventional game reel ..................... It is heavy and carries braid whereas I feel you need some stretch when trolling with game reels and mine carry mono for that reason If you want a 30 size game reel then look for Shimano Titans or TLD's these can be picked up for under $300 (spooled with line) 2nd hand and are a better option than the electric that is designed for deep jigging Horses for courses Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
