JFish,

I only know of one Cottage Point - thats the one in Cowan creek.

If you are shore fishing use plenty of berly.

I have caught Bream &Leatherjackets there but from the boat and fishing to the shore.

At night you will find the bream in the shallower water so no need to cast 100m, 10m ought to do it.

In winter, I have heard of hairtail being caught from the shore as well.

good luck

If you are lucky you'll catch a glipse of Karen Pini, ex page 3 girl in the UK and lotto announcer, etc. She runs (or at least used to) the kiosk at Cottage Point!!!:thumbup:

Cheers

There are some monster bream under the kiosk there. Throwing some bread into the water will cause it to boil with action. Anchoring near there during the day and berleying bigtime might attract them over. Have tried at night to no avail. Fishing from the pontoon and adjacent areas is not allowed.

Its really deep there, really deep. So you have to get in close to get near where the fish wanna be, to get protection.

Yah she would be around 50 now and still runs modelling workshops I think

Cheers mrsswordfisherman

I saw her a couple of weeks ago at the Terry Hills Tavern having dinner with 3 other ladies...she looks great for her age...lovely set of pins on her...the others looked like they were in their sixties or so and she looked 20 years younger than them...
