johnsparky77
Went to one of my usual haunts this morn down at longnose pt in Balmain, however it was choca's full of fisherman there , didnt seem to have caught anything, mind you not even any parking spots so I decided to make a move down to the beach at Kyeemagh, Botany bay. Waded out there using prawns for bait, fished the top on the tide and an hour after it. Surprisingly caught quite a few just undersize Bream which put up great fights on light gear, heaps of whiting about, kept 4 legal sized whiting. Absolutely wonderful weather this morning overcast and a very light SE breeze. Went for a walk through the cooks river breakwalls at botany bay yesterday arvo must have been near the top of the tide where I witnessed one of the young boys there pull up a good size bream just under a kilo! Good to see some decent fish being pulled out of here. Have noticed the bay is firing up alot better than previous years with heaps of legal sized bream and whiting and there have been some monster flathead been lost here. Good luck all!!!
