zen801
Hi raiders, Thinking of getting a jewie mounted. Can anyone recommend someone preferable in Sydney or at least NSW. Found a few good ones in Victoria but would rather stay local if i can. Advice much appreciated. Cheers

Guest
Montebello fish mounts in callala Bay. It is 2 hrs south of sydney, but he does fantastic work. PM me if you would like the number. I can vouch for the exquisite work of the Montebellos,Fred moulded my first Black Marlin and it takes pride and place above the fish tank. They do amazing work and it is worth the drive to get your fish mounted by these experts Cheers Swordfisherman

Swordie i did find these guys on the net but seeing your beautiful fish mounted by these guys i think i will give them a go. Might even get a chance to have a fish down there when i drop it off. Thanks Choad mate its not in the freezer yet. I have caught a few lately and am thinking of getting the next one mounted. I want it to be around 80 -90 cm. Dont want to mount like a whopper because i cant catch one that big. Like jews so much just wanna have one to look at between trips to keep me revved up for the never ending quest for the big one. Cheers and thanks all!

Kirks
I know you said Sydney, but there is a great guy at Yamba on the NSW North Coast, pretty much specialises in fish. His name is Rod Gardiner. He does a great job by the look of his work on display at Sassafrass Restaurant in Yamba. I was speaking with him tonight and these days he mainly does fish. Hope this helps. Rob. Edited: pm for Kirkby for further details
