IWANNABROCK
Try any courier company. especially ones looking to fill a back load or even removal companies. Edited January 9, 2008 by IWANNAJEWY
RodnReel
A Removalist company would be best bet, If you used a normal transport company you would have to strap it to a pallet to make it safe. A removalist will wrap it in Blankets and strap it in the van.
ATrezise
Id give Ballina Removals a call. They have a fleet of trucks up and down the highway to Sydney almost daily. They have a website, ballinaremovals com au, so I just found out by searching whitepages online. I dont work for them or even know anyone who does, but I live and work in Ballina, just down the road from their depot.

pelican
I enquired 12 months ago and the bus company and a lot of removal companies will no longer accept anything that has had petrol or oil in it as they are worried about smell and contamination if there is a spill. I have PM you a outboard motor transport specialist who personally moves trailers / boats and outboards between Vic and Bris regularly. Dont want to give him a free plug as I have never used him. Have PM'd the mods and they might get a few advertising dollars as it is a problem we all encounter at some time. I can only hope you know the motor your buying as it is so hard to buy well from other peoples descriptions. Hope it helps pel Edited January 10, 2008 by pelican

ATrezise
Thats true, Id forgotten that about the fuel. More to do with transporting dangerous goods that they cant carry them, but the other reasons are valid. Should be OK if it is completely empty. I sent you a PM Sammy Edited January 11, 2008 by AndyT
