pelican Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 (edited) Years ago saw 2 boats go from pinchgut out the heads North and they were out of sight in minutes. With them doing it as a drag race from pinchgut to Manly it will be all over fast so I'm not sure how many runs they will do or how they will make it exciting. At least they could have run it from Drumoyne but then we have that pesky bridge speed limit don't we and no one wants to swallow their pride at state govt. To get a crowd you need it as a circiut or out the heads to pittwater and back then to Botany and then you could watch from the cliffs. Down at Brighton might actually be a better area due to shape of bay. Standoff safety zone for boats will make viewing from the water hard. What about the little penquins??? and our resident seal?
