been trying to google up some info on what the weather is suppose to be like over the weekend of the 16th Feb down around that area, dont really expect any one to but anything besides BOM website that might be able to help me plan a trip that doesnt get shat to peices because of rain and wind would be helpful ( all the way from newcastle to fraser Is over the holidays and the weather was....poor, very very poor, spirits were down but luckily still got some fish, long way in a hilux towing the boatsworth) I know lately the bloke on the telly doesnt know what its goin to be doin by the time he gets home so understand if i'll have to just suck it and see. Also i havent fished down around there since i was a young lad so any tips or anyone who would show me a few spots for an hour or so around jervis or st georges basin would be ripper, might be a carton of the golden stuff in it for ya, pm me, sometime over the 15,16,17

Hey guys, check this site out.

The Weather Zone

It has long range forecasts (28 days & 12 months) but I can't vouch for the accuracy. However, I use that sites 7 day forcast & it seems reasonably accurate I think you have to buy a membership to get the longrange stuff, can't remember how much but it's shouldn't be too much.

As for those dates; If you can't access the long range forcast & don't wanna join here's what I got in my search for the South Coast area.

14th & 15th Chance of rain = HIGH

16th Chance of rain = LOW

17th No rain forcast.

Like I said, can't vouch for the long range accuracy but it's not looking too good for ya's sorry.

Kingies, shame its your bucks do & not your honeymoon, rain is always good on ya honeymoon :1prop:

Seriously boys.....weekend of the 16th.. :074::074: ...........bom,bouy,and to a lesser degree seabreeze

and the rest of them....

they have trouble getting the weather right for the very next day......

and most times the afternoon update on the day resembles nothing of like that

that was issued earlier that morning on the same day.....

sorry to sound so cynical......

but sucking it in and see for the weekend............ along with haveing a look yourself on the day

generally will avoid the biggest dissapointment.....

my guess would be definently take a raincoat....

Cheers Warnie......
