PM79 Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 (edited) Well thinking that we'd never get there the boat is pretty much done. Paint is done, the flooring (the frame work was our largest worry) went in flawlessly and turned out better than expected and we just picked up a shiny brand new motor to play with. We decided on a 2007 Model 4-Stroke Mercury 30Hp EFI with stainless prop, which I might add was only $66 more then the aluminium one. All that's left to do now is to buy the sounder, rope, chain, anchor and wire the electronics up and she'll be ready to hit the water. I'll post pictures tomorrow when I drag it out for a wash as there isn't enough room in the garage to take a picture. Speaking about sounders I think I've pretty much decided on the Lowrance x125, anyone had an experiences with this sounder? Good or bad.
