locodave
Hey guys, I am thinking of buying an old boat! I don't have time or the skill to renovate one, but i was wondering if anyone knows somebody that does this for a living and is good at it? If you can send me their details and how much im looking at for new carpet, windshield, seats, paint etc that would be great! And if you have some pics of before and after, that would be great!! Thanks
Flightmanager
Probably an interesting way of getting a boat , but depending on the boat , you could be in for a lot of $$$$. Wht not just get an older boat that is already seaworthy? Sometimes a good clean up and polish is all they need . Some boat dealers sell what they call " Project Boats" . Typically , these are hulls that they cannot sell due to age or condition. Depending on condition , you could spend a lot of money on parts alone , then if you add labour charges on top of that....... Remember what boat stands for : Bring Out Another Thousand!!
