Jew fisherman (including myself) were armed with squid, shoulder to shoulder. Did you guys catch any? I had to move down the beach just to get a spot. Been the last 3 nights now and still not even a sniff. I'm just about at the end of my tether with these bloody silver beasts! Tony Soprano Posted February 21, 2008 Share Posted February 21, 2008 Nats I've spent 7 of the last 8 nights at the beach soaking fresh whole squid for barely a touch. I've caught a couple of banjos, a few nice whiting (which managed to get hooked on 8/0s) and have been continually getting my prime baits picked to shit by crabs and bream... Still no luck as yet but that's half the fun of jew fishing! As inhlanzi said it will all be worth it when that big slab of silver glides up the sand.
