roosterman Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 hi Rob, i have a navman trackfish 6500 which is sounder/plotter and there is a setting for adjusting the temp setting. +/- .. you would have to have a thermometer or another boat to give you the current temp to adjust to.... not sure whether yours has this feature... maybe you can post model etc so we can help figure it out..... in saying that mine is setup how it came outa box... tooooooooooo many bloody settings.... i dont have time to go to uni for 4 yrs to learn how to use the blasted thing to its potential.. ... cheers... steve.....
a boat Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Hi Rob, I have not seen this one, the temp side of the transducer never gives much problem. As Steve mentioned try and calibrate the temp and see if that works. Let us know what you find because I would be interested in knowing what you find the problem is. Cheers, Huey.
