Gday all. Only new to posting so hope Im in the right area. Heading down to Shellharbour/Windang next Saturday with 2x 14yr olds(boy n girl) and wondering if any of u raiders can offer some tips - e.g. spots, baits, rigs etc. Will be landbased. Have light spin gear we usually use in Brissy Waters with good success but its a nursery up there at the moment - well if your landbased that is - and 1 x 10kg outfits. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Gazman,

theres plenty of whiting in the lake at windang, if you can get squirt worms you'll get as many whiting as u want. go to the kiosk on Warilla side of the lake and park you're car, then you walk out onto the island infront of the car park. You fish in the channel towards the entrance. Or if you want to fish off the rocks go to bass point. hope this helps mate, enjoy the day.

Thanx angler - I've tried in front of the bowling club before ans south side near bridge. Will give the island a fish never done that. Do u know if theres any fish in front of the pub at Shellharbour??? Appreciate your response about Windang - thanx

try the south side of the rocks at cowries you will be surprised what you will catch there.(That's the south side off the rocks in front of the pub.
